This Privacy Policy describes how the personal data of users who browse the website pala-residence.it or contact the accommodation Palamostre Residence is processed, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended by Decree 101/2018 (the “Privacy Code”).

2. Types of data processed

Contact data provided voluntarily: first and last name, email address, phone number, desired stay dates and any messages, sent through the contact form or by emailing/messaging the property.
Browsing data: technical data that IT systems automatically acquire while you use the site (IP addresses, browser type, operating system, pages visited, access times), processed solely for the operation and security of the site.

We do not collect special categories of data (Art. 9 GDPR) through the site. Please do not enter sensitive data in the free-text fields of the contact form.

3. Purposes and legal bases of processing

4. Method of processing

Data is processed using IT and/or paper tools, with security measures adequate to prevent loss, unlawful or improper use and unauthorised access. Processing is carried out by the Controller and authorised personnel.

5. Provision of data

Providing contact data is optional but necessary to respond to requests: without it, we cannot follow up on the communication. Providing data for non-technical cookies is always optional.

6. Recipients and third parties

Data is not sold or transferred to third parties for their own commercial purposes. It may be processed on our behalf and as Data Processors (Art. 28 GDPR) by:

Hosting / email provider of the website and of the info@pala-residence.it mailbox, for the technical storage of data.
Google Ireland Ltd. for the Google Maps service (“Where we are” map), loaded only after consent to the related cookies. Google may process data such as the IP address; information: policies.google.com/privacy.
Consultants, accountants and competent authorities, where required by law.

7. Data transfer outside the EU

The use of services such as Google Maps may involve the transfer of data to third countries. Such transfers take place on the basis of adequate safeguards (adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 44 et seq. GDPR). Technical and font cookies do not involve profiling.

8. Retention period

Contact/request data: for the time needed to handle the request and, in case of booking, for the duration of the relationship and the subsequent legal terms (usually up to 10 years for accounting and tax obligations).
Browsing/log data: for the strictly necessary time, except for the investigation of offences.
Cookie consent: recorded and stored for up to 6 months, then requested again.

9. Rights of the data subject

At any time you may exercise the rights provided for in Art. 15-22 GDPR:

access to your personal data;
rectification of inaccurate data or completion of incomplete data;
erasure (“right to be forgotten”);
restriction of processing;
data portability;
objection to processing;
withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent given before withdrawal.
